Honoring the Life and Spirit of Rebecca
On July 30, 2025, Rebecca Lee Rosenbaum passed peacefully among family after a determined battle with cancer. She was 63 years old.
Rebecca was born in Orange, NJ on August 27, 1961 to Quinton and Lily Lee. She grew up in South Orange and Maplewood, NJ. Rebecca had a wide, wonderful range of experiences over her life. She found meaning in her employment in modeling, fitness, and art gallery sales. She had a strong appreciation for show-stopping fashion and the highest of heels.
Rebecca was the loving wife of the late Jerry “JR” Rosenbaum. Over 22 years of marriage, they enjoyed traveling, dancing, wining and dining. They appreciated the arts, from museums to ballet to theater. Together, they built lasting friendships and lived life to the fullest for as long as they could, while supporting each other through unexpected hardships.
Rebecca was also the loving sister to Rachel Lee (Gabriel); aunt to Pigeon, Raven, and Phoebe; stepmother to Barry, Lauren (Dustin), and Emily Rosenbaum; and “Ama” to her step-grandson Tegan.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society or to the National Asian Artists Project in Rebecca’s memory.

Death: July 30, 2025
